We’ll always remember Auntie Kirsten and how she made this world a better place. The love for her family was like no other, the pride of her girls and the wonderful life and home she created with Barry. We have always said The Dicksons are the loveliest family you could ever wish to meet. I’ll always remember Kirsten’s encouragement and how we could all rely on her for support with any new ideas, projects etc. Kirsten and I shared traits such as our sensitive souls and silly sense of humour. We loved visiting her and would always feel at home and completely comfortable in her presence. Just thinking of Kirsten when I am stressed and struggling always calms me down and makes me realise what’s truly important in life. That will never leave me and I will forever think of her in those situations. Kirsten was the strongest person I have ever known and we were all truly in awe of her and how she battled for so long. Her strength and compassion was inspirational to all of us. It is heartbreakingly cruel how she has been taken from us so young but she will never be forgotten. Kirsten and Grandma were the perfect pair and Grandma looked up to Kirsten for her style and inspiration. Style which she has passed on to her girls, as well as her beauty and humour. We always enjoyed being silly and never took life too seriously. I’ll miss receiving texts checking in to see how we were doing. Kirsten loved our Maeva so much and would tell me how her camera roll was filled with pictures of her. Maeva will grow up with Great Aunt Kirsten as her guardian angel, always offering her care, encouragement and love. We will miss you so much Kirsten and every time we think of you I promise to do our absolute best not to cry, but laugh and smile at the time we shared together. Rest in peace Kirsten, up in Heaven with no more pain. Love you always. Patrick, Laura and Maeva xxx
